Stivo Simple Boy was born on 28th January 1990 in Oyugis, Homabay County, Kenya. He has 7 siblings and he is the second last born.
They lived at Nyanza during his early years before relocating to Kibera slums in Nairobi.
He grew up in a very humble background thus this explains his thirst for success. Information about his siblings remains untold although we know of his sister Linet who runs a small business in kibera.
Unfortunately he lost his dad on February 2023.
Education
He studied up to class 8 and couldn’t further his education due to financial strains.
Music Career
Stephen’s Music interest developed long ago. He regularly attended rehearsals organized by Kibera Creative Arts (KCA) and got his skills nurted.
He was given chances to perform at various events such as Art Attack Festivals, Kibera Music Competition, and Uchaguzi Bila Fujo Concert.
In 2015, he recorded his first song ”Ukimwi”. In 2017, he released his second song ‘Mihadarati ‘ and released a video on the same.
The song majorly was meant to warn youth to avoid drugs. His song made him named the ambassador of the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) in the year 2019.
He has also released the song ‘Inauma‘ in which he expressed the frustration he faced by being trolled online.
He is still releasing more hits and is looking forward to doing collabos with other artists.
Family
He is not yet married and does not have kids .
Relationships
Stivo dated a girl called Fridah or Pritty vishy on social media for several years. He was hoping that their relationship would result into marriage but unlikely they separated.
Pritty has gone on to brag that stivo can’t get over her. She recently released a song dedicated to his ex-Stivo.

Despite rising into fame, Stivo still lives in a small house in kibera. He is however working hard to achieve his dreams. He also doesn’t own a car.
