Vanny Boy was born on August 22, 1993, in Mbeya Tanzania. He comes from a very humble background. He has a brother named Shadrack who is a graduate of Ardhi University.

He studied up to the high school level and then joined the music industry.
Music Career
His passion for music started while still in primary school. He won the regional Serengeti rap freestyle competition in Mbeya and went on to win the national competition in Dar Es Salaam in 2011 during his high school times.
In 2012, he joined a music group known as Tip Top Connections where he worked as a backup for Ya Moto Band and Madee Ali. This gave him the chance to connect with more prominent artists.
In 2015, he joined WCB wasafi recorded owned by Diamond Platnumz.
In 2016, he released his first Single ”Kwetu” which was a trend in East Africa countries.
Diamond and Vanny Boy have collaborated on several songs including ‘Salome ‘and ‘Amaboko’.
In 2021 Rayvanny unveiled his own Record Label dubbed Next Level Music (NLM).
