Early Life
He was Born on 13 January 1995 in Lagos State. His mother is a teacher while his father is a businessman based in Lagos. They are Muslims who hail from the South-Western part of Nigeria.
Education
He did both his primary and secondary education at Lagos. Later he joined Obafemi Awolowo University where he studied theater and performing arts but was initially focused on dance.
Musical Career
He broke out in the industry when he dropped the 2020 single, ‘Lady‘. He rose to stardom after being signed to YBNL Records by the label boss, Olamide.
In 2022, he released another song named ‘Mr. Money’ which also gained massive attention and later he did a remix with Zlatan and Peruzzi.
In February, he signed with YBNL Nation and Empire Distribution. The same year, he released’ Ololade‘. Despite the song’s success, his breakthrough song, ‘Omo Ope’ shot him into the limelight.
In July 2022, he signed a distribution deal with Empire. He followed up with his debut album, ‘Mr. Money With The Vibe’ which was published on September 8, 2022.
His EP album has songs like, ‘Terminator’, ‘Peace Be Unto You’ and ‘Sungba Remix’ with Burna Boy”. The album topped on charts for a while and received positive feedback from fans in Nigeria as well as across the globe and also break several records.
In 2022 he began his world tour, selling out the O2 Academy Brixton in London.
On February 2023, He won the Male MVP award at the Soundcity MVP Awards at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos.
