Early Life
Nameless was born on 1st August 1976 in Ngong. They are 5 in their family and he is the lastborn.
His siblings are Anthony Mathenge, Rosemary Mathenge, Bob Mathenge, and Judy Mathenge.
His father Joshua Solomon was a civil servant while his mother Eunice Mathenge worked at ICDC.
Education
He started his early education at Nairobi Primary School and then joined Strathmore School in Nairobi for his secondary education. He became a recording artist at Ogopa DJ’s label in Kenya and started recording his songs because his family had shares in Ogopa Djs so for him was an easy way. After a couple of years, he joined the University of Nairobi to pursue Bachelor’s in Architecture. He was a student as well as a musician and not just a musician but a top musician in Kenya.
Career
He started his music career back in school where he used to perform in school events. In 1999 he performed at a concert in the Kenyan Urban Music Station Capital Fm’s star search program. The program was created to aid in the discovery of exceptional artists and he emerged as the winner.
It is when he performed his song Megarider that set him to fame.
He later recorded the song with Tedd Josiah which propelled him higher and landed him at Ogopa DJs’ record label in 2001.
He has collaborated with other artists like E-sir and Amani. Their singles remained at the top of the Kenyan charts for four months.
His first album On Fire was released in 2004. It had songs like ”maisha, juju, and Ninanoki.
Family
He is married to Rosemary Wahu a fellow musician. Together they are blessed with 3 daughters Tumiso, Nyakio, and Shiru.
Tumiso is 15 years while Nyakio is 7 years. They both celebrate their birthdays in August. Shiru was born in 2022.
Relationships
The artist met Wahu while on the campus. Nameless however had spotted her on television before later meeting in school.
The two dated for 7 years before tying the knot on 10 September 2005 in Naivasha.
