Early Life
The rapper was born in Nairobi on May 7, 1987, and belongs to the Luo tribe. His parents were the late Mr. Julius Ombima and his mother Mrs. Elizabeth Ombima. He is the last born among the three sons in his family. His father was a caretaker while his mother was a fruit seller in Nairobi.
Education
He attended St. Johns Primary School and upon passing well, he joined Eastleigh High School for his secondary education.
His love and passion for music made him get chosen to be the entertainment captain.
After high school, he joined Kenya College of Accountancy (KCA) University for an accounting course.
Career
He started his career while still in high school. He decided to venture fully into music upon completing high school. He is a product of the WAPI freestyle events at the British Council under the guidance of Buddha Blaze.
His music journey in 2010. He had been sent to the supermarket by her mother when an idea struck him on his new year’s resolution. On his shopping list, he added a pen and a book. He wrote down his resolutions and each time he would check and cross what he had already achieved.
His first album containing songs such as ‘jam nakam’ that led to his fame signed sneed music under a two-year contract. Since then he has released several albums with more than a hundred songs.
Apart from music, he has ventured into other businesses. He is the CEO and Founder of Kaka Empire Studios and has a clothing line.
Kaka is an actor, film writer, and video director. He has been featured in films such as ”Machachari”, ‘Higher learning‘, ‘Mali’ and ‘mwizi mkubwa’. He has written a film ‘kamtupe‘ which is set to be aired soon.
In September 2015, he launched his water cleaning company and his brand name is Kaka Empire’s Music Water.
Recently, baba Royal is a lecturer at Zetech University based in Ruiru. He handles mentorship, music, and entrepreneurship.

He is married to Carter Ninifelly Owiti (Nana Owiti). Together they are blessed with two children namely Gweth Ombima and Iroma.

Before marrying Nana, he had a relationship with sage, and together was blessed wit a gal named Ayanna Ombima.
