Early Life
Nikita Kering was born on 26th February 2oo2 in Nairobi, Kenya. Her parents are Anne(mother) and Joseph Kering(father). She has 3 siblings and she is the only girl. Her parents are great supporters of her music career.
Education
She attended primary level at Riara Springs Academy, and Kilimani Junior Academy, and later shifted to Brookhouse International School where she focused on Business Technology and specialized in Music performance, business marketing, and production.
She completed her A-level studies on a partial scholarship, given to support her musical career.
Musical Career
Her musical interest developed when she was 3 years. Emmy Kosgei was one of her greatest inspirations. During her Album Launch in 2012, Nikita was given a chance to perform making it her first stage appearance.
The crown was hugely impressed by her performance.
Due to her passion for music, she signed a deal with EmPawa Africa one of Mr. Eazi’s initiatives to help growing artists. Fortunately, she was selected to undergo an international training and mentoring program. She was among the finalist but unluckily her age couldn’t allow her to perform at the highest stage.
In 2019, sponsored by Mr. Eazi, she was able to release her first single Tragedy. The same year, She was received two awards from AFRIMMA awards.
In 2022, she released her first EP album.
Her major idol in music includes Beyonce and Adele.
