Early Life
Nandy was born on 9th November 1992 in Mawenzi, Moshi, Tanzania. Her mother is Mary Charles who is a tailor and his Father is Charles Mfinanga who is a mechanic.
She grew up with her sister Celine Mfinanga who is now her stylist. During her tender age, Nandy was an active member of her Sunday school choir at KKKT Lutheran Church in Moshi.
Education
She went to Mawenzi Primary School and later joined Lomwe High School. She was the leader of her school Choir. After high school, she joined college of Business Education (CBE), in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Music Career
She developed her interest in music while still young. Attending her Sunday school choir and being the leader of her high school choir sharpened her skills in music.
Later, her friend introduced her to the CEO of Tanzania House of Talent(THT) Ruge Mutahaba. She met Emma at the college where they collaborated and released their first single Nagusagusa .
She was exposed more to music in early 2016 when she attended a competition Tecno Own the Stage. The competition finals were held in Lagos, Nigeria. The contest featured contestants from all over Africa and she emerged as the first runner-up.
Her win boosted her confidence and also she acquired essential knowledge of the music industry from musical tutors and mentors such as Bien and Yemi Alade.
In 2017, she released a single, ‘One Day‘ which brought her into limelight and gave her opportunities.
Same year, she was nominated and won the Best Female Eastern Africa in the All Africa Music Award. She was also ampong female artists who participated in the coke studio.
Apart from music, she played a role in the Huba series aired on Maisha Magic Bongo.

She is engaged to a fellow artist and rapper Willi Lysio, known by his stage name Bill Nass.
Relationships
She dated Bill Nass for a while before separating in 2017. Later the two med their issues that led to Bill’s proposing.
