He was born on 1st September 1989 in Dar es Salaam Tanzania. His parents were very supportive but unluckily his dad passed on 12 years ago. His mother paid for her first video when he decided to do music.
He studied in Dar es Salaam until later on in life when he went on to China to further his studies.
He started his music career at the age of 16 He released his first jam Nakudata in 2005.
In 2008, he formed a music group called ‘Wakacha‘ with Kamikaze and Giga Flow. Together they released hits such as ‘Facebook Gal‘, ‘Here We Go‘ and “Mimi na Wewe”.
In 2008, he signed into Tanzania Record Label A.M Records where he started recording R & B.
In 2018, his song and other Tanzanian artist got banned for going against Tanzanian morals and values.
He has collaborated with other artists like Vanessa Mdee, Diamond Platnumz, Otile Brown and Nyashinki.
Besides music, he is the CEO and Founder of the renowned fashion brand: African Boy.

Juma dated his fellow artist Vanessa Mdee But they separated. Jux seems not to have gotten over her since she comments on her photo and even dedicated a song to her when she got pregnant.
The relationship came to an end following allegations of Vanessa Mdee cheating on Jux after pictures of her hugging the American R&B Trey Songs.
He later dated Nayika, a girl of Asian origins but they broke up in 2020.
