Early Life
The artist better known by his stage name Mbosso Khan was born in a small village in Kibiti, Tanzania in 1991. His mother is Hadija Salom who was a farmer and father Yusuf Kirungi who worked as a matatu operator.
Education
He studied up to his fourth form and opted to quit school. He begged his parents to let him go try his luck in the city, Dar es Salaam.

Career
He started his music career as one of four members of Yamoto Band between 2013 and 2015. Fella signed him under the Mkubwa na wanawe record label. He teamed him up with another group of three boys he had namely; Aslay, Enock Bella and Beka Flavor to later form Yamoto Band. At that time his stage name was “Maromboso”.
Together they did a number of songs including; Ntakupwelepweta, Basi Ninajuta, Nisambazie raha, Cheza kwa madoido, SU ft Ruby Mkubwa na wanawe, among others.
The music group later disbanded in 2015.
He returned to the village and continued farming until when Rayvanny visited him at their home. He promised to sign him under wasafi label owned by Diamond Platnumz.
In 2018 he was signed to WCB Wasafi. That same year he released his first song ‘Nimekuzoea’ as a solo artist under Wasafi records. Other songs under wasafi includes “Maajabu”, “Picha Yake”, “Tamu” and “Tamba” .
In 2021, he released his debut studio album titled “Definition of Love”. The album was released on 9 March and it featured artists such as Diamond Platnumz, Njenje Band, Mr Flavour, Rayvanny, Liya, Darassa, Spice Diana and Baba Levo.

Relationships
Mbosso was married to his wife Boss Martha who succumbed to illness in 2019. Together they were blessed with a son who is now 4 years old.
He also have another child with his girlfriend Rukia Rucky named Iqram Khan.
House & Cars
Shortly after joining Wasafi, he was gifted a car for his exemplary good work. He owns other cars like vToyota Land Cruiser Prado and lexus.
He has bought a house in the capital of Tanzania and also gifted his parents a house. Him being able to buy his parents a house was a dream accomplished and he always thanks God for it.
